History

Vallely Sport & Marine is a locally owned family business that has been in business since 1974. Since its early beginning in Williston, North Dakota, many things have changed.

The original founders, John "Duke" and Arlene Vallely opened the doors selling International Trucks, pickups, TravelAlls, and Scouts. From there Vallely Truck Center, Inc. became Vallely Truck & Marine with the first of many expansions, including the addition of the Lund and Glastron boat lines, along with Mercury outboards in the fall of 1976. In 1984 we had the opportunity to add the AMC/Jeep/Renault automobile lines and expanded our used car business. Then in the fall of 1986 our second marine location was added in Minot, ND. The year 1989 brought more excitement as we acquired the Dodge, Dodge Truck, Chrysler, and Plymouth automobile franchises to go along with our Jeep store at 1212 West Second Street in Williston. Our most recent expansion and acquisition took place in 1999 when we purchased Twin City Marine and BoatWorld in Bismarck, ND. The two stores were merged and operated as Twin City BoatWorld until 2004 when we purchased over 5+ acres of land and built our state-of-the-art sport and marine facility at our present location at 2800 East Bismarck Expressway.

Now second and third generation owners, Tim S. Vallely, and Josh Vallely operate the two Vallely Sport & Marine locations, following in the footsteps of their founders, providing the best products with exceptional customer service at a fair price.
